The Product Owner - Marketing Websites will serve as the primary point of contact responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the marketing website. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including the VP of School Marketing and Web Strategy, UX team, marketing team, designers, developers, and other relevant parties. The primary objective is to ensure that the marketing websites effectively support the company's marketing goals, drive user engagement, and enhance the overall user experience. In this position, the Product Owner will develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap for the marketing website, ensuring that it aligns with the company's strategic objectives and marketing initiatives. This involves gathering and prioritizing requirements from marketing stakeholders, which includes collecting feedback from customers and stakeholders, prioritizing features, and making necessary trade-offs based on business needs. The role also entails close collaboration with the marketing team to understand their goals and translate them into technical requirements for the development team. The Product Owner will work alongside Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) specialists, SEO specialists, UX researchers, UX designers, and UI creatives to ensure that the marketing website is user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for conversion. Additionally, the role involves partnering with developers to ensure the timely and successful delivery of new website features and enhancements. Managing the product backlog is also a key responsibility, which includes creating and prioritizing user stories based on evolving business needs. Regular user testing and analytics reviews will be conducted to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement. The Product Owner will monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of website updates and make data-driven recommendations. Identifying and mitigating risks and roadblocks throughout the development process is essential, as is staying current with industry trends, competitor websites, and emerging web technologies to continuously enhance the marketing website.
