About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our dynamic team at a leading mortgage lending and servicing company. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Customer Data Platforms (CDP), communication strategies, Tealium, and be proficient in Jira and Agile methodology. This role will be responsible for driving product development, enhancing customer engagement, and optimizing data-driven decision-making processes. The Product Owner will define and communicate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business goals, particularly in relation to CDP and customer communication strategies. They will work closely with stakeholders, including marketing, customer service, technology, and compliance teams, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable product requirements. Additionally, the Product Owner will champion the use of Tealium for customer data management, ensuring optimal utilization across marketing and communication platforms. In the Agile Product Management aspect of the role, the Product Owner will act as the Product Owner within the Agile Scrum team, responsible for managing the product backlog and ensuring user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with the overall product vision. They will lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement. Utilizing Jira to manage and track progress will be essential, ensuring transparency and efficient communication within the team and across departments. The Product Owner will also oversee the implementation and ongoing optimization of the Customer Data Platform (CDP), ensuring that it supports personalized communication, customer segmentation, and analytics-driven marketing strategies. Collaborating with data teams to ensure data accuracy, integration, and accessibility across all customer touchpoints will be a key responsibility. Leveraging Tealium and other relevant tools to improve customer experiences and drive business outcomes will be crucial. Fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams will be necessary to ensure clear and consistent communication regarding product goals, challenges, and progress. The Product Owner will work with marketing and customer engagement teams to develop and execute communication strategies that enhance customer experiences and improve retention rates. They will serve as the main point of contact for product-related inquiries, updates, and feedback from internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates to senior leadership, highlighting key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement. Managing expectations and ensuring alignment across all levels of the organization will be essential for success in this role.
