FM is currently seeking a Product Owner - Platform to join our esteemed Global Platform Engineering Services team, presenting a remarkable opportunity. You will be the driving force behind our Platform Environment build and coordination team, actively engaging with our business and engineering departments to capture valuable requirements that will translate into your backlog and roadmap. You will help to lead the team in the creation of new Cloud and Hybrid environments that support our growing business application teams needs in testing, training, and more. You will help to drive the creation of a new release management process within our environments as well as the coordination of deployments to support the health and resiliency of our shared lower environments. Your expertise in converting these insights into actionable backlog items will be pivotal. Additionally, you will be responsible for crafting a roadmap that showcases the business value delivered by our teams. As the Product Owner, your main responsibilities will include defining the minimum viable product (MVP) and ensuring that the team's backlog is organized, prioritized, and refined. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technology product vision and determining the priority of both functional and non-functional product backlogs. Timely delivery will be a key focus for you. Additionally, you will act as the liaison between the customer and our teams, translating the product vision into actionable features and tactics for our technology products. Effective communication of the product strategy to key stakeholders and team members will also be an important part of your role. You will be setting product goals, identifying success metrics, and breaking down commitments into achievable tasks. Close collaboration with the product teams to understand customer requirements, address obstacles, and ensure alignment with the feature or product strategy will be crucial. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of specific projects and collaborating with various stakeholders, including operations users, business teams, and other relevant parties. By championing the needs of our customers, you will play a key role in developing, evaluating, and approving product user stories, as well as leading product demos for our user panel. Additionally, your contribution to team retrospectives will ensure quality and foster continuous improvement within the team. You will play a vital role in guiding our customers and product teams, communicating the value of our product and its features, and ensuring smooth implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the Platform Environment build and coordination team.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years' experience in business, product management, software development, technology, and/or consulting.
  • Release management experience in a modern development environment.
  • Experience coordinating releases with multiple teams.
  • Outstanding planning, analytical, decision-making, organization, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to influence others and build consensus.
  • Ability to make difficult and quick decisions with incomplete information.
  • Deep business expertise or experience supporting business domains.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of team members and leadership.
  • Innovative and creative leader with an experimental mindset.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ADO experience for backlog management.
