About the position

SS&C is a global provider of investment and financial services and software for the financial services and healthcare industries. The Product Owner for DomaniRX will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Pharmacy Benefit Management by delivering a cloud-native, API-driven claims adjudication platform. This position requires a strong understanding of the competitive environment and market forces necessary to launch successful new product solutions. The Product Owner will be responsible for product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle, from concept through end-of-life planning. This includes analyzing market opportunities, anticipating industry direction, evaluating feasibility and financial justification for new products, and identifying requirements for both future and current products in the context of the company's strengths and capabilities, technologies, quality, costs, customer interactions, and marketplace demands. The role involves guiding product vision and strategy, developing product solution plans, defining product requirements, creating product roadmaps, establishing pricing models, positioning products in the marketplace, and planning for profit. The Product Owner will prepare and present information and plans to senior management, develop, track, and report on multiple products simultaneously across various cycles of development. This position requires the ability to switch from strategy to execution, collaborate and persuade at all levels, and actively engage in process improvements to increase efficiencies. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product planning and execution throughout the entire product life cycle, from concept through end-of-life planning.
  • Analyze market opportunity and anticipate industry direction.
  • Evaluate feasibility and financial justification for new products and/or new releases of existing products.
  • Identify requirements for future and current products in the context of the company's strengths and capabilities, technologies, quality, costs, customer interactions, and marketplace demands.
  • Guide product vision and strategy, product solution development plan, product requirements, product roadmap, pricing models, positioning in the marketplace, profit plans, and the launch process.
  • Prepare and present information and plans to senior management.
  • Develop, track, and report on multiple products simultaneously, in various cycles of development.
  • Apply technical expertise, business acumen, product knowledge, and industry experience to effectively manage the product development and delivery process.
  • Demonstrate the ability to switch from strategy to execution, collaborate and persuade at all levels, and engage in process improvements to increase efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Pharmacy Benefits Management Experience
  • BS degree, related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • A solid foundation as a Product Owner on various levels.
  • Strong Communication Skills and the ability to add your intuitive spirit to solve problems.
