About the position

Infosys is seeking a Product Owner/Product Analyst in Store Inventory Business Functions. This position's primary responsibility will be to help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations. The role holder will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options, and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. The ideal candidate must be located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations, which is an essential aspect of the role. The candidate will engage in various activities that include working closely with clients to understand their needs, facilitating workshops, and ensuring that the solutions provided align with the clients' strategic goals. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Store applications such as POS, Payment Integrations, Store Inventory Management, and Back-Office Systems to deliver effective solutions. You will be responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Your contributions will be vital in helping clients navigate the complexities of the retail landscape and achieve their business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Help clients with strategy definition, value realization, implementation, and operations.
  • Discover and define the problem statement for clients.
  • Evaluate solution options and make recommendations.
  • Create detailed design, architecture, and process artifacts.
  • Implement deployment plans for solutions.
  • Support knowledge transfer to provide value-adding consulting solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and facilitate workshops.
  • Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technology.
  • Experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, and requirement elicitation specializing in Store applications such as POS, Payment Integrations, Store Inventory Management, and Back-Office Systems.
  • Experience with leading Store Inventory Management Modules and GKPOS.
  • Knowledge of Store Operations usage in Fuel Stations and Convenience Stores.
  • Experience in Product Management areas such as Product Owner/Product Manager.
  • Ability to interface with customers and other stakeholders.
  • Experience with Product Strategy and Business Alignment.

Nice-to-haves

  • At least 6 years of experience in Business Process Consulting, problem definition, and requirement elicitation specializing in Store applications.
  • At least 6 years of experience in creating requirement specifications based on Architecture/Design/Detailing of Processes.
  • At least 5 years of experience in capturing requirements related to internal/external consulting, documenting, and mapping current business processes.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Development/Configuration/solutions evaluation/Validation and deployment.
  • Analytical and Communication skills.
  • Planning and Coordination skills.
  • Experience with project management.
