About the position

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner/Product Manager with a strong background in compliance and regulations to join our team at RohaTech. This role requires a blend of technical acumen, business analysis, and a deep understanding of regulatory environments. The ideal candidate will lead the product management process from concept to delivery, ensuring that all products comply with relevant laws and regulations while meeting business goals. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full product lifecycle, including strategy, planning, and execution, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements. In this position, you will translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with compliance standards. You will lead Agile/sAFE methodologies to manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and deliver products on time. Identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them will be crucial to ensure smooth implementation and avoid delays. Additionally, you will create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, and other essential project materials. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and business units, to ensure product alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives. Your focus on compliance will ensure that all products adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full product lifecycle, including strategy, planning, and execution, with a focus on compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications, ensuring alignment with compliance standards.
• Lead Agile/sAFE methodologies to manage product backlogs, prioritize features, and deliver products on time.
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring smooth implementation and avoiding delays.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including requirements, process flows, and other essential project materials.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including legal, IT, and business units, to ensure product alignment with regulatory requirements and business objectives.
• Ensure all products adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years in Product Management or Product Ownership, with at least 3 years focusing on compliance and regulations.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technology.
• Expertise in Agile/sAFE methodologies.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in documentation and process flow creation.
• Ability to anticipate potential issues and proactively address them.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in the financial services industry or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with regulatory bodies and standards relevant to the industry.
• Certifications in Agile, sAFE, or Product Management.
