About the position

The Trading Data and Analytics Product Owner (PO) for Products and Feedstocks Trading at ExxonMobil plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business customers and IT delivery teams. This position is responsible for managing the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring that trading data and analytics needs are met effectively. The PO will lead the development of new products and enhancements, leveraging both technical and business skills to optimize trading processes and data consumption.

Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for Trading Data and Analytics needs.
• Liaise between the Global Trading organization and IT delivery team.
• Enable efficient consumption of data through analytics data models and applications.
• Translate business requirements into data models, visualizations, features, and user stories.
• Analyze business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Validate data integrity for modeling and user story development.
• Plan and prioritize work intake through SAFe Agile methodology.
• Lead user acceptance testing and training.
• Manage the life cycle of features and user stories.
• Facilitate Power User Network(s) and monitor tools usage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a fast-paced environment or multinational company.
• Expertise in business process analysis and integration with data mining and analytics.
• Project management skills to support initiatives and projects.
• Experience with continuous improvement processes and analytics technologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in operating and supporting robust and scalable big data platforms.
• Knowledge of global and regional energy markets.
• Practical experience with cloud services, preferably Azure.
• Familiarity with machine learning and analytics tools.
