About the position

The Product Owner role at RMS Interactive Resources is a pivotal position within a national home health care group, responsible for shaping and executing the technical product vision and strategy. This role involves co-creating the product roadmap, managing the product backlog, and ensuring timely delivery of new product offerings to clients and internal teams. The position requires strong communication and people management skills, as well as the ability to work closely with executives and technical teams to align product offerings with strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Systems Product Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's business objectives using Salesforce and other tools and systems.
• Oversee the end-to-end product development process, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and release, ensuring it is done on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with Executives and leadership of technical teams to align strategic priorities with product offerings.
• Lead and inspire a technical team, providing clear direction, setting priorities each sprint, and supporting the delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Conduct market research, analysis, and customer feedback collection to identify trends and potential gaps in current offerings; incorporate findings into product planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems or Industrial Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years' experience in product ownership/product management or related work.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Extremely strong communication, people management, and change management skills.
• Strong ability to develop stakeholder relationships and create an environment of full transparency, encouraging feedback from stakeholders and team members.
• High sense of urgency and action-orientation balanced with people-first care and attention to detail on downstream impacts.
