About the position

The Product Owner - Infrastructure position at Geologics Corporation is a long-term contract role based in Aurora, CO, with a focus on Agile Software Integration and Testing (I&T). The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing requirements and determining test plans within a closed system. This role requires a strong background in designing, configuring, and planning testing for infrastructure environments, particularly in Agile settings. The Product Owner will collaborate with various teams to design, implement, develop, and test mission solutions, ensuring that security and compliance are integrated into the platform. The position also involves modernizing platform infrastructure for critical teams and converting strategic initiatives into actionable plans and objectives, captured in a backlog of features and stories. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, with a strong emphasis on Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology. An active TS/SCI with CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory due to security clearance requirements. The role demands proficiency in Agile Development Methodologies, effective communication skills, and administrative fluency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMWare solutions. Additionally, experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go, as well as containerization technologies like Kubernetes or Docker, is essential. The candidate should also possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Responsibilities

  • Review requirements and determine test plans within a closed system.
  • Design, configure, and plan testing for Agile Software Integration & Test (I&T) environments.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement mission solutions.
  • Build, integrate, test, and deploy pipelines, optimizing for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure security and compliance are integrated into the platform.
  • Convert strategy and strategic initiatives into well-developed plans and objectives.
  • Capture a backlog of features and stories for development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with emphasis in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Active and transferable TS/SCI / CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance required prior to start date.
  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe).
  • Ability to communicate tasks effectively to a wide audience.
  • Administrative fluency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and VMWare solutions.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Ruby, Bash, C++, C#, and Go.
