Responsibilities

  • Maximize the value for a product by defining the vision and roadmap.
  • Define and prioritize stories in the product backlog and articulate this to stakeholders and the development team.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure alignment with the Product Manager in a scaled Agile model.
  • Create the vision and roadmap for the product to align with strategic direction for the business or technology domain with some guidance.
  • Communicate the product vision and roadmap to stakeholders and the team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and problems.
  • Create and prioritize work for one team and learn to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Refine stories with the team to ensure there are enough ready stories to load the next 1-2 sprints.
  • Review and accept stories, making on-the-spot decisions on scope and requirements.
  • Work in partnership with the team to ensure optimum value is obtained through technology and an advanced understanding of the business.

Requirements

  • Experience leading large scale program and project efforts.
  • Ability to plan and direct routines and reporting to drive accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
  • Ability to drive and promote strategy.
  • Ability to analyze and decompose business requirements and propose various solutions.
  • Tech Management experience working in a Technical Environment.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and coordinate with developers on day-to-day deliverables using lean agile principles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, enjoying a collaborative environment.
  • Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner, willing and able to quickly learn new products, technologies, and skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Financial services experience with exposure to regulatory requirements within the Payments space.
  • 5+ years overall experience required, with experience in organization/program/product management.
  • Knowledge and experience in Enterprise Payments (RTP, Wire Transfers, ACH) is desirable.
