About the position
The Product Owner with UX Design Experience will serve as a vital link between business requirements and user needs, ensuring that products not only meet functional specifications but also deliver an intuitive user experience. This role involves leading multiple scrum teams, managing product backlogs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product value in the market. The Product Owner will also be responsible for mentoring other Product Owners and implementing best practices within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Delivery of high-quality epics and user stories.
- Backlog prioritization and grooming.
- Sprint management for efficient code delivery.
- Ownership of the epic and user story backlog.
- Breaking down epics into consumable and testable user stories.
- Leading sprint activities such as retrospectives, demos, and planning sessions.
- Articulating internal and external needs in collaboration with Engineering.
- Leveraging market research and user feedback to validate requirements and designs.
- Identifying and standardizing best practices and tool sets across the organization.
Requirements
- 3+ years prior working experience as Product Owner with some focus on UX design.
- Proficiency in UX design tools such as Figma, Miro, and Balsamiq.
- Strong ability to create user-centered designs that meet business objectives.
- 2+ years working in an Agile, Scaled Agile, Scrum environment.
- 2+ years working in a healthcare environment, including software solution delivery.
- 2+ years working with Agile process management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
- 2+ years of working experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with open-source Big Data technology stacks.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), or equivalent.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery technologies.
- Familiarity with build automation and continuous integration tools.
