ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Gather and analyze feature requirements, determine acceptance criteria, and craft well former, accurate User Stories. Define and prioritize the product and sprint backlog; lead any follow up activities or refinement sessions that help ensure effective and actionable backlogs. Collaborate with technology, digital and business SMEs, acting as a Subject Matter Expert on assigned product(s) and as the business advocate when defining and capturing and clarifying requirements for the Scrum Team. Communicate the product vision and goal to the Agile Delivery team and business and technology stakeholders. Active contributor to the estimation and work planning process, working closely with the Scrum Team to continuously improve sizing accuracy and planning effectiveness. Manage the product release process for assigned product(s). Gatekeeper of quality for our business stakeholders - review and accept development and configuration work for completeness against requirements and intended member or employee experience pre- and post-launch. Participate in discovery sessions for new features and projects and contribute domain knowledge and technical expertise. Set Sprint Goals for the Scrum Team, track deliverable timelines and communicate delivery dates to stakeholders. Contributes to a positive team dynamic through respectful interactions, positive contributions, and active collaboration to achieve department and organizational goals. Incorporates AAA's vision, mission and values in day-to-day activities and behaviors; guides and motivates others to remain committed to AAA's vision mission and values. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (BA) in business, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience 4+ years' experience in product owner or product specialist role PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ years' experience in travel, insurance, subscription membership, and/or service-related industries CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Scrum PO certification preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Knowledgeable about business acumen and communication skills. Strong understanding of UX design, user flow and wireframes Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scaled Agile Framework Skilled leading facilitation sessions that guide stakeholders from ambiguity to clarity with regard to features, capabilities and priorities.
