About the position

The Product Owner at Enlighten will play a crucial role in supporting operations and growth strategy, particularly focusing on the U.S. Air Force. This position involves project management and DevSecOps support, with an emphasis on fostering relationships with government customers and ensuring the successful adoption of analytics and applications developed for cyber operations on the Big Data Platform (BDP). The role requires a hybrid work approach, with some in-office presence and travel to support customers as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, foster and strengthen relationships between the company and targeted government customers.
  • Function as the account lead and integrate directly into the customers' daily operations.
  • Champion the company's technology and capabilities to customers.
  • Support the implementation of new hardware and software solutions at the base level of the Air Force Network.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing and business plans, operational roadmaps, and action plans for identified targets.
  • Expand future opportunities by working with existing customers and identifying new market opportunities.
  • Document and maintain opportunities in company pipeline tools.
  • Develop customer relationships and maintain updated knowledge of customer plans, programs, and market intelligence.
  • Build an external network of solution partners and providers.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and engineering departments to ensure customer experience success.
  • Act as the focal point for pushing capabilities to the customer and ensure awareness of DevSecOps pipeline updates.
  • Support identifying, pursuing, and capturing new business opportunities within the Department of Defense (DoD).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current TS level U.S. Government security clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
  • 9+ years in DoD cyber, agile development, and/or big data with a B.A. in Business or a technical field; or 7 years relevant experience with a Master's in a related field; or High School Diploma with 13 years relevant experience.
  • Extensive background and knowledge of the Air Force Network (AFNET).
  • Experience managing complex technical projects and programs.
  • Experience with Software Engineering, Cloud Technologies, and Cyber Security.
  • Strong technical background to determine system requirements and collaborate with engineering and management.
  • Understanding of budget practices and acquisition processes.
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with others.
  • Excellent interviewing skills including active listening and empathy.
  • Experience in the full lifecycle of Business Development including proposal support and opportunity identification.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% CONUS and OCONUS.

Nice-to-haves

  • DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required as directed by the customer.
  • Previous BDP experience is a plus.
