About the position

As a Product Owner at New Era Technology, you will play a crucial role in guiding the development of our technology solutions. You will be responsible for planning and prioritizing product development, ensuring that the product feature backlog is well-defined and aligned with our strategic goals. Your expertise will be essential in developing detailed product feature specifications, which must be clearly understood by all relevant teams involved in the product lifecycle. You will assess the value of features, develop business cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure that our work aligns with the overall product strategy. In this role, you will also be tasked with mitigating any roadblocks that may hinder the achievement of sprint and release goals. You will lead product-release plans and set clear expectations for the delivery of new functionalities. As a product ambassador, you will share your knowledge both internally and externally, answering questions and providing insights that help stakeholders understand the product vision and its value. Your leadership will be vital in ensuring that our products meet the needs of our customers and align with the mission of securely connecting people, places, and information.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they are clearly understood by relevant teams
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in related discipline
  • Proficiency with applicable project management tools and technology
  • Five or more years of experience in product development
  • In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
  • Understanding of business value related to features and functions
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders
