About the position

Loloi Rugs is seeking a Product Owner to manage, develop, and optimize our ERP platform. This role serves as the System Owner and Functional Lead for Loloi's ERP platform, responsible for data flows, integrations, configuration, feature development, and technical support. The Product Owner will play a crucial role in gathering business requirements, project management, DevOps, and providing overall leadership to ensure the ERP system meets the company's needs. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our headquarters located in Dallas, TX. The Product Owner will define system enhancements and improvements based on business needs, requirements, and technical capabilities. They will gather and analyze requirements from various departments to enhance the ERP system and partner with system stakeholders to define and validate new and existing integration touchpoints across the tech stack. Identifying and documenting system gaps for the product backlog to address future enhancements and capabilities is also a key responsibility. In addition, the Product Owner will manage and prioritize the backlog of bugs, feature requests, and enhancements, leading and executing the development of new and existing configurations. This includes supporting documentation for change management and end-user training. The role requires developing business case documentation and financial justification for initiatives, partnering with IT leadership to establish project approaches and timelines. The Product Owner will document current and future-state business process requirements, including data flows, configurations, and reporting needs. They will lead and execute testing phases for implementations to ensure systems meet business stakeholder needs and provide frontline support for new site implementations and major rollouts to ensure smooth adoption and stabilization. Furthermore, the Product Owner will manage the business relationship with software vendors to deliver excellent customer service and responsiveness, providing 2nd level operational support for all entities, including advanced troubleshooting techniques to minimize business impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Define system enhancements and improvements based on business needs, requirements, and technical capabilities.

  • Manage the business relationship with software vendors to deliver excellent customer service and responsiveness.
  • Provide 2nd level operational support for all entities, including advanced troubleshooting techniques to minimize business impacts.
  • Manage simultaneous projects, coordinating all aspects of implementation and delivery for successful project execution.
  • Coordinate all software version upgrades with business stakeholders and vendors to ensure successful migrations and minimal business interruptions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the ERP system.
  • Oversee DevOps processes to maintain and improve system performance and reliability.
  • Lead scrum meetings to facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Define and implement new features to support business growth and efficiency.
  • Maintain cross-functional communication and leadership to align ERP initiatives with company goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or relevant experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with Enterprise ERP.
  • 2+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Product Owner role.
  • Understands Agile delivery methods and has experience working in a SCRUM environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with a background in leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required to effectively partner with both business and technical IT teams.
  • Deep understanding of data requirements and flows.
  • Excellent business communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects involving multiple entities, departments, and external partners.
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong time management skills; highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive mindset.
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience driving integrations between SaaS based enterprise systems and third-party stakeholders.
  • Background in software engineering.
  • Business process management experience.
  • Experience working with project management platforms such as Jira, Notion or Asana.
