About the position

The Product Owner will play a crucial role in the Retirement Services Platform (RSP) Technology & Transformation team, focusing on driving the delivery of key initiatives within the Inforce Annuity Operations Enablement Team. This position requires a proactive individual who can define priorities, articulate a clear vision, and collaborate effectively across teams to deliver impactful solutions that align technology capabilities with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the vision, benefits, and roadmap for annuity product capabilities.
• Maintain a transparent, prioritized product backlog and write/refine user stories and sprint plans.
• Work with prospective users and cross-functional teams to gather and translate requirements into deliverables.
• Address and resolve production incidents or issues, ensuring operational continuity and minimal disruptions.
• Lead efforts to improve operational processes, automate workflows, and enhance platform performance.
• Oversee work through the entire development lifecycle, from planning to deployment.
• Communicate progress, updates, and risks to stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment and clarity.
• Act as a customer proxy, working with delivery teams, Product Management, and other stakeholders to ensure value delivery.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in product management.
• Strong ability to define and communicate product vision and roadmap.
• Experience in backlog management and user story refinement.
• Proven collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to resolve production incidents effectively.
• Experience in performance optimization and process improvement.
• Familiarity with the development lifecycle from planning to deployment.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $106K - $134K per year.
