About the position

As a Product Owner at Orchard LLC, you will play a pivotal role in an Agile development team dedicated to serving the Intelligence and Defense community. This position is not just about managing tasks; it’s about ensuring that the well-being of our employees is prioritized alongside our commitment to client missions. You will work closely with developers, government product owners, scrum masters, and the user engagement team to ensure that the needs of all stakeholders are properly prioritized and executed. Your contributions will directly impact the development of capabilities that are crucial to our clients' success. In this role, you will assist the Government Product Owner in the prioritization of capabilities, gathering feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be responsible for communicating team priorities from the Government Product Owner to the Agile team, ensuring that everyone is aligned and focused on the right objectives. Your ability to articulate customer and user needs to the development team will be essential in guiding the team’s efforts. Additionally, you will author Acceptance Criteria and contribute to the planning, validation, and demonstration of new capabilities. Your role will also involve communicating and coordinating with external stakeholders, ensuring that their needs are met and that the product roadmap is developed and maintained effectively. This is a dynamic position that requires adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving, as you will be working in a rapidly changing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Government Product Owner in prioritization of capabilities with feedback from multiple internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Top Secret or TS/SCI Clearance
  • Prior experience with Agile Development, Scrum, and/or SAFe
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to be effective in a rapidly changing environment
