About the position

The Product Owner is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for defining the vision of the product and ensuring that the development team delivers value to the business. This position requires a deep understanding of both the market and the customer needs, allowing the Product Owner to prioritize features and functionalities that align with the strategic goals of the company. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, create user stories, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that the development team has a clear understanding of what needs to be built and why. In this role, you will be expected to facilitate communication between various teams, including development, marketing, and sales, to ensure that everyone is aligned on the product vision and objectives. You will also be responsible for conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation. The Product Owner will play a key role in sprint planning and reviews, ensuring that the team is focused on delivering high-quality products that meet customer expectations. Additionally, the Product Owner will be involved in the continuous improvement of the product, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders to refine and enhance the product over time. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, as you will need to make data-driven decisions while also being able to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and roadmap based on market research and customer feedback.
  • Prioritize the product backlog to ensure the development team is focused on delivering the most valuable features.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and create user stories.
  • Facilitate communication between development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment on product objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of real work experience in a related field.
  • Experience with R, SQL, and data visualization software such as Spotfire, Tableau, or PowerBi.
