About the position

The Product Owner at Sensiple Inc. is responsible for defining and maintaining the product roadmap for payment solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends. This role requires extensive experience in the payment domain, focusing on backlog management, compliance, and agile methodologies to deliver high-quality features in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the product roadmap for payment solutions.
• Prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs and business value.
• Leverage knowledge of payment gateways and transaction processing to shape product decisions.
• Use customer feedback and performance analytics to inform product decisions.
• Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure payment products meet industry standards.
• Act as the Scrum Product Owner, leading sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Analyze and define business requirements and functional specifications for projects.
• Translate business requirements into functional design and user documentation processes.
• Train users on new or enhanced applications and systems.
• Support testing of new or enhanced applications and systems.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience as a Product Owner with a focus on business analysis in the payment domain.
• In-depth knowledge of payment gateways, transaction processing, and digital wallets.
• Experience with compliance standards such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and AML regulations.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience as a Scrum Product Owner.
• Ability to analyze business processes and define functional requirements.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with international payments and cross-border transaction regulations.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in financial technology.
