About the position

As a Product Owner for the Public Risk Group at Tokio Marine HCC, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of technology platforms and developing capabilities to support municipal entities. This role involves driving the growth and utilization of technology platforms, enhancing business user experiences, and maintaining a strategic roadmap for modernization efforts. You will collaborate with business and technology teams to analyze current systems and implement changes that deliver business outcomes efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships at all levels.
• Drive efficient project collaboration by brokering communication between technical teams and customers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and workshops for requirements elaboration.
• Serve as subject-matter expert (SME) for all appointed applications and systems.
• Steward Business Analysis (BA) Center of Excellence with associated best practices and project artifacts.
• Operate independently with minimal managerial direction.
• Participate in application steering committees.
• Provide versatile support to Product Management and Development teams to ensure timely and quality delivery of enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
• 5+ years of relevant and progressive professional experience in software development and support.
• Possess and have ability to apply broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy.
• Exceptional organizational and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Intermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office package (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
