About the position

As a Product Owner at Innova Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of the product by maximizing the output of the development team within a scrum framework. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the product backlog, which includes ordering backlog items, clearly expressing product backlog items, and prioritizing them to achieve goals and optimize the value of the work performed by the team. You will lead collaboration efforts, facilitate sprint activities, and create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements. This involves working closely with business stakeholders, product/project managers, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs, ensuring a full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing and adapting the product vision, writing new user stories, and specifying acceptance criteria for each user story. You will bring members of the User Community together to share knowledge, identify enhancements, manage toolset or training improvements, discuss issues, and drive toward process standardization. Additionally, you will ensure the health and quality of specific processes and resulting products across the value stream, contributing to the overall success of the product and the satisfaction of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the output of the development team within a scrum framework.
  • Order and prioritize the product backlog to achieve goals and optimize value.
  • Lead collaboration and facilitate sprint activities.
  • Create and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, product/project managers, and technical teams to understand and communicate project scope and requirements.
  • Develop and adapt the product vision, writing new user stories and specifying acceptance criteria.
  • Bring members of the User Community together to share knowledge and identify enhancements.
  • Ensure the health and quality of specific processes and resulting products across the value stream.
  • Monitor the flow of requests through Kanban boards and ensure service level agreements are met.
  • Manage the service roadmap for 24 to 36 months.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in a related field; 3 years of relevant professional experience with a master's degree; 0 years with a PhD.
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze incoming service requests from customers and determine their priority and complexity.
  • Experience in reviewing requests and clarifying vague areas with customers.
  • Knowledge of Kanban or agile methodologies.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple efforts effectively.
