About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Owner to join our team on a 1-year contract basis in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product ownership, with at least 5 years of experience in this role. This position requires a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders. The Product Owner will be responsible for defining the product vision, managing the product backlog, and ensuring that the development team delivers high-quality products that meet customer needs. The role may require onsite presence three times a week, so candidates must be open to this arrangement. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that the product aligns with business goals. You will also be involved in data analysis and profiling, utilizing your expertise in Oracle and SQL to inform product decisions. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be the primary point of contact between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed throughout the product development lifecycle. Additionally, familiarity with data domain governance will be considered a significant advantage, as it will enhance your ability to manage data-related aspects of the product effectively. Requirements

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proven ability to manage product backlogs and prioritize features.
