About the position

The Product Owner will be responsible for translating customer needs into technical requirements, developing a product vision, and overseeing the product development lifecycle. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that technical requirements align with the product strategy, while also addressing product-related issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements
• Develop and maintain the product roadmap, considering both technical feasibility and business needs
• Oversee the scrum team throughout its development lifecycle, including leading all scrum ceremonies
• Collaborate with business partners and customers to develop a comprehensive product vision and roadmap
• Define and prioritize the technical backlog, ensuring it remains up-to-date
• Solve product-related problems and make decisions based on trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverables
• Develop scope, user stories, and use case scenarios
• Lead stand ups and Scrum Ceremonies
• Utilize Atlassian Jira for efficient product management
• Engage in backlog grooming and other Agile Scrum activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Product Owner role or similar.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and bug tracking systems.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in backlog grooming and Agile product management.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle management.
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
• Skilled at working effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred.
