About the position

Exelon Corporation is at the forefront of the energy transformation, and we are seeking a Product Owner (PO) to join our Agile Delivery Team (ADT). The PO plays a crucial role in the day-to-day execution of the product roadmap and prioritization of backlog items to achieve strategic goals and outcomes. This position serves as the principal liaison between business and technology groups, ensuring that the product aligns with organizational goals. The PO must possess a deep understanding of business needs and priorities, which extend beyond the direct scope of the ADT. At a strategic level, the PO utilizes experience and judgment to prioritize and design approaches that are suitable for achieving business goals and eliminating constraints. The role requires effective communication of the product roadmap and backlog priorities to the team, as well as providing feedback to optimize team dynamics and performance. The PO will introduce capabilities that span multiple business and technology teams, ensuring that the solutions developed support the long-term vision of the customer journey and product roadmaps. Cross-functional collaboration is essential, as the PO must understand both technical and business needs, including people and processes, to support the implementation of key features. This position is critical to the success of the product, and the expertise and skills of the PO are essential to achieving the organization's goals. Note that this is a hybrid position, requiring employees to be in the office at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
