About the position

The Product Owner is a senior-level position responsible for developing and executing product strategies that drive business growth and profitability. This role focuses on establishing the product vision, strategy, and roadmap while driving innovation and delivery within the value stream to meet strategic priorities. The Product Owner collaborates with various stakeholders to support strategic investment decisions and enhance user experience throughout the product life cycle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify industry back-office metrics, opportunities, and threats that may impact product strategy.
  • Define, track, and communicate relevant KPIs for the product to measure performance and contribution to business strategic priorities.
  • Develop business cases for new products, including market analysis, product requirements, competitive analysis, and financial projections.
  • Drive investment decision making and overall financial performance of the product, focusing on return-on-investment.
  • Lead product strategy, planning, and lifecycle management efforts to drive ongoing evolution and innovation of the product.
  • Develop and socialize the Product Roadmap and release plans, ensuring a common understanding among stakeholders.
  • Lead workstream Product team in Agile meeting ceremonies such as PI planning and sprint demos.
  • Communicate with stakeholders to surface, balance, and prioritize feedback to enhance user experience.
  • Publish quarterly high valued feature sets delivered to stakeholders and prioritize accordingly with Product Owner(s).
  • Understand end-to-end business processes to optimize user experience and drive performance efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with UX team to drive adoption and consumption of product capabilities.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the value stream and key personas.
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis.
  • Ability to define and track KPIs for product performance.
  • Proven experience in developing business cases for new products.
  • Strong financial acumen to drive investment decisions and product performance.
  • Experience in product strategy, planning, and lifecycle management.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and leading Agile ceremonies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with stakeholders.
  • Ability to publish and prioritize feature sets based on stakeholder feedback.
  • Understanding of end-to-end business processes.
