About the position

The Product Owner at CGI Federal is responsible for translating customer requirements into application solutions using Microsoft Dynamics. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including Architects and Product Managers, to shape the product roadmap, define user stories, and ensure successful implementation of solutions. The Product Owner will also support agile teams throughout the development and testing phases, acting as a liaison between internal customers and the development team.

Responsibilities

• Support the shaping and execution of the product roadmap by coordinating with other Product Owners, Product Managers, and Solutions Architects.
• Assist in shaping the solution by innovating and providing system experience discussed with the PM/PO/SA and the agile team.
• Break down potential features into achievable pieces for sprints.
• Establish detailed and clear acceptance criteria for user stories, tasks, and bugs.
• Note feedback received during demos and discuss with PM/SA to prioritize within the PI.
• Support implementation and production go-live of solutions, including data migration and integrations.
• Produce and ensure quality release documentation, updating the requirements repository.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a product manager or product owner in a SAFE Agile environment.
• 6+ years of experience performing functional business analysis, requirements gathering, and developing business processes and workflows.
• Extensive knowledge of program guidance documents and milestone processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask.
• Proven client management skills and strong attention to detail.
• Top-notch organizational skills and ability to work within processes.
• Ability to translate and articulate business needs into software requirements/epics.
• Ability to work closely with technical leads, engineering teams, and architecture stakeholders.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and/or PowerApps.
• Experience with Microsoft PowerBI.
• Experience with solution implementations including data migrations and configurations.
• Experience with extracting and articulating requirements for vendor integrations and APIs.
