Lincoln Financial Group is seeking a Customer-Focused Product Owner to join our Group Protection business. This role is pivotal as we embark on a multi-year journey to enhance our customers' and employees' experiences through innovative digital solutions. As a Product Owner, you will be an integral part of the Agile Product Owner team, responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog for our Agile development team. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in understanding customer and business needs, and you will work closely with software engineering teams to implement effective solutions that meet those needs. In this role, you will lead the implementation of improvements to internal user-facing and customer experience-enabling digital solutions. You will define user stories that will be executed by the Agile software development team, continuously prioritize the product backlog to ensure the team focuses on high-value work, and coordinate with other Product Owners and team members to manage dependencies across teams. Additionally, you will partner with Product Managers and other stakeholders to understand customer needs and emerging trends, refining the longer-term roadmap accordingly.
