About the position
The Product Packaging Designer at SilverOnyx is responsible for creating promotional designs and packaging for e-commerce products. This role requires collaboration with other graphic designers, marketing managers, and senior leaders to produce marketing images, packaging, and sales materials. The designer will focus on data-driven design decisions to enhance product visibility and sales performance in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure the on-time production of design files for packaging
- Create product listing images for marketing on e-commerce marketplaces
- Collaborate with others to improve website designs and increase sales
- Help produce product videos for placements on e-commerce marketplaces
- Prioritize graphic design production throughput over artistic creativity
- Work closely with the team to promote the 'Hello Lovely!' brand and products
- Embrace proven processes and implement incremental improvements
- Shoulder additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in packaging design
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- Experience with Canva and social media marketing
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to make data-driven design decisions
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Relevant college degree
Nice-to-haves
- Experience running conversion rate optimization tests
- Experience selling on Amazon, Walmart, or eBay
- A scientific approach to design rather than purely artistic
