About the position
The Product Packaging Designer at SilverOnyx is responsible for creating and coordinating the production of design files for product packaging and marketing images. This role requires a strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, along with experience in 3D product rendering and label design. The designer will collaborate with graphic designers, marketing managers, and senior leaders to enhance promotional designs and drive sales, all while adhering to data-driven design principles.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure the on-time production of design files for packaging
- Create product listing images for marketing on ecommerce marketplaces
- Collaborate with others to improve our promotional designs and increase sales
- Prioritize graphic design production throughput over artistic creativity
- Work closely with our team to promote all our brands and products
- Embrace our proven processes and implement incremental improvements
- Shoulder additional responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in packaging design
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
- A portfolio of previous graphic design projects
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to make data-driven design decisions
- A college degree in a relevant field
Nice-to-haves
- Experience running conversion rate optimization tests
- Capability of producing product videos for ecommerce marketplaces
- Experience promoting products on Amazon, Walmart, or eBay
- A willingness to learn and adapt
- A scientific approach to design rather than purely artistic
