About the position

The Product Performance Analyst at GEHA plays a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and enhancement of product offerings through detailed analysis of product performance, customer segmentation, and historical trends. This position requires a sophisticated understanding of actuarial principles and superior analytical skills, focusing on identifying growth opportunities and implementing data-driven product improvements. The analyst will work closely with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to translate complex datasets into actionable strategies, significantly influencing product development and positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze product performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation models to better understand customer behavior and preferences.
  • Examine historical performance data and market trends to anticipate future product needs and opportunities for innovation.
  • Lead comprehensive analyses on product performance using advanced statistical and actuarial methods.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into product development processes.
  • Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management.
  • Design and implement analytical frameworks and dashboards for ongoing monitoring of product metrics.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in product analysis, preferably within a healthcare or related industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, R, Python) and statistical techniques, including forecasting and predictive analysis.
  • Strong understanding of actuarial principles and their application to product performance evaluation.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with customer segmentation and analysis of historical data trends.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
