The Accessory Product Planner will play a crucial role in developing and presenting plans for new vehicle accessory products. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of OEM guides and specifications, as well as the ability to analyze historical sales data and competitor offerings, particularly with a focus on advanced technologies. The Planner will be responsible for investigating accessory concepts, conducting thorough research, and analyzing potential new accessories to ensure they meet market demands and align with company goals. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively presenting plans to stakeholders and collaborating with various departments. In this role, the Planner will engage in product planning by developing and presenting new vehicle accessory product plans. This involves analyzing industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs to create marketable and technically sound product proposals. The Planner will also create detailed concept packages that include business cases, risk assessments, customer interest evaluations, supplier availability checks, installation complexity considerations, and competitor analysis. Profitability management is another key responsibility, where the Planner will develop business cases and manage profitability reviews for both current and future projects, ensuring alignment with product plans and OEM approvals while maintaining data accuracy. Additionally, the Planner will gather and integrate technical, design, and functionality details from Brand Planning into the Product Plan. They will generate and present reports on market trends and product strategies to drive revenue and profits, focusing on short, mid, and long-term goals as directed by the Head of Department. Administrative support for the Accessory Planning Department will also be part of the role, including taking meeting minutes and distributing them to stakeholders. The Planner will be measured on key performance indicators such as revenue and profits, successful concept launches, and the timely delivery of product plans and accessory concepts.
