About the position

The Product & Pricing Data Analyst at INX International Ink Co. plays a crucial role in the Product Management team by collecting, organizing, modeling, and presenting key performance metrics for various product lines. This position involves collaboration across all functions of the organization to leverage data for better business decision-making, ensuring data accuracy, and developing custom data models and dashboards. The role is highly visible, working closely with senior leadership and reporting to the Product Line Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of production efficiency, product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.
  • Ensure accuracy and cleanliness of data with great attention to detail.
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
  • Develop custom data models and standardized dashboards to be used by Product, Leadership, and Operations teams.
  • Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, and improved decision-making.
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
  • Present data using visualizations, reports, and presentations to leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or Statistics; internship experience in data analytics in an industrial environment will be considered.
  • Up to 5 years' experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Knowledge and experience in organizing data effectively.
  • SAP experience or other ERP systems like Oracle preferred.
  • Experience with dashboard software, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, Macros, pivot tables.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with data visualization techniques and tools.
