About the position

The Product Principal for Customer Experience at Home Depot is responsible for connecting strategies and defining scope across multiple product teams to deliver business value, drive sales, and enhance customer satisfaction. This role involves close collaboration with Product Directors and functional program leaders, guiding business reviews, and presenting insights across all organizational levels. The Product Principal is expected to generate innovative ideas for growth and drive change management and process improvement within their enterprise product line.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates Distinguished Engineers, User Experience Principals, and impacted teams to ensure alignment on scope and priorities.
  • Partners with cross-functional programs or technology portfolios to align outcomes and communicate context effectively.
  • Leads cross-functional discovery sessions and creates holistic roadmaps with dependencies for impacted teams.
  • Represents the portfolio during enterprise planning and fosters collaboration across multiple teams to drive value.
  • Manages stakeholder expectations and educates requestors on prioritization based on benefits and user experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8 years of work experience in product management or related roles.
  • 2 years of leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with presentation software like Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
