About the position

Toyota Motors North America is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Product Profit and Systems Cost Analyst to join our Accounting & Finance, Revenue Management, and Profit Planning department. This role is pivotal in leading SAP product costing activities, ensuring compliance with product costing standards, and analyzing product cost and revenue data. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, confirming, maintaining, and analyzing the usage of product costing standards, while also ensuring SOX compliance. The role requires a deep understanding of new model specification costs and revenues on an annual basis, providing year-over-year analysis to support strategic decision-making. In this position, you will collect, confirm, and steward product cost and revenue data into standardized output formats using established assumptions. Identifying drivers of period-to-period changes in product cost and revenue will be a key responsibility, as will maintaining and improving the systems that produce, manage, and analyze this data. You will also develop, manage, and execute detailed activity schedules to meet product cost deadlines in SAP for fiscal and model year changes, ensuring that all processes are efficient and effective. This role is based in Plano, Texas, and offers a hybrid work environment that includes both in-office and remote work options. Responsibilities

  • Lead SAP product costing activities.
  • Develop, confirm, maintain, and analyze usage of product costing standards.
  • Ensure SOX compliance with product costing standards.
  • Understand new model specification cost and revenue on an annual basis and provide year-over-year analysis.
  • Collect, confirm, and steward product cost and revenue data into standardized output formats using standardized assumptions.
  • Identify drivers of period-to-period changes to the product cost and revenue.
  • Maintain and improve the systems that produce, manage, and analyze product cost and revenue data.
  • Develop, manage, and execute detailed activity schedules to meet product cost deadlines in SAP for fiscal and model year changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent analytical degree and background.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Manufacturing Cost Analysis, including experience with bill of materials.
  • Experience developing, managing, and executing detailed activity schedules.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, with emphasis on creating, managing, and manipulating large data sets in Excel.
  • Ability to prepare and present findings and recommendations to various levels of management, including Executives.
  • SAP product costing experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • MBA or CPA.
  • Direct experience maintaining and analyzing Toyota vehicle Bills of Materials (BoM) using the eBoM system.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in OneStream, SAP, eBoM, Power BI.
  • JKK and TBP certification.
