About the position

The Product Program Manager (PPM) will oversee complex real estate, renovation, and corporate construction projects within a SAFe-scaled Agile environment. This role requires managing the build process, collaborating with general contractors and subcontractors, and integrating Agile practices with Waterfall processes to meet project needs efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in AV and construction, and will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of project goals while maintaining high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Product Program Manager within an Agile SAFe framework overseeing project milestones, managing program increments, and supporting Agile ceremonies.
  • Coordinate efforts across Agile teams to ensure timely delivery of project goals while aligning with Waterfall vendor processes.
  • Lead AV design, engineering, and renovation projects, adhering to corporate standards and contractual requirements.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of AV and construction projects, from planning and initiation to execution and close-out.
  • Help project manage the infrastructure environment, including physical hardware, networking, virtualization, applications, security, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide project management for unified communication (UC) solutions.
  • Coordinate workshops with business teams to map and streamline processes, improving alignment with tech and optimizing cross-functional workflows.
  • Identify, schedule, and monitor remote contractors and vendors, ensuring contract compliance and smooth resolution of any conflicts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, leading internal and external project meetings, status updates and risk assessments.
  • Seamlessly integrate Agile methodologies for the Tech teams while working with Waterfall-based vendors and external teams for cohesive project execution.
  • Take ownership of project documentation, manage timelines and align resources effectively within both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Oversee procurement and maintain budgetary control for necessary equipment and materials to support project requirements.

Requirements

  • 15+ years in Program/Project Management, ideally within facilities or construction.
  • 8+ years with technology integration in commercial renovations and new construction.
  • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies; SAFe experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence).
  • Prior experience managing vendors, particularly in tech project settings with remote contractor involvement.
  • Proficiency in Hybrid Methodologies, including a strong understanding of Agile for Tech teams and experience with Waterfall to ensure effective collaboration across departments.
  • Familiarity with AV systems, GCs, subcontractors, permitting, and project timelines.
  • Ability to effectively navigate ambiguous situations by independently identifying priorities and clarifying objectives.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders, effectively guiding decisions and driving alignment.
