About the position

The Product Record Data Analyst Intern at Shure Incorporated is a summer internship program designed for undergraduate and graduate students. This twelve-week program offers a hybrid work arrangement, allowing interns to gain hands-on experience in managing and analyzing product data related to Change Management, Manufacturing, and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) processes. Interns will work closely with the PLM team, develop data management and analysis skills, and receive mentorship from experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

• Track the status of engineering change requests (ECRs) and ensure they are processed within specified timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely implementation of changes.
• Analyze product material data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas of improvement.
• Generate regular reports on product data metrics.
• Utilize data visualization tools to present findings and insights in a clear and actionable manner.
• Create dashboards for real-time data monitoring using tools like Tableau or Excel.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic understanding of data analysis concepts and tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong interest in PLM, data analysis, or related fields within a manufacturing environment.
