About the position

This is an opportunity for a Product Reporting Analyst (“analyst”) within InvesTech Operations (“InvesTech”) to be responsible for the product reporting produced out of our Boston office. Specifically, the analyst will be responsible for maintaining and producing standard product-related marketing and client materials as well as customized client reporting for an assigned suite of products. The Product Reporting Team broadly will be expected to develop expertise in the approaches they cover and are expected to understand the portfolio's outlook, process, positioning, strategy, and the current market environment. The team will be closely aligned with Investment Products & Fund Strategies (IPFS) and serve as internal subject matter expert to InvesTech and Client Group broadly.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IPFS and the Client Group to understand the fundamentals of our approaches, general reporting needs of our clients invested in those approaches, and the guidelines which govern our activities related to marketing and client reporting.
  • Ownership of all standard materials for their assigned product suite.
  • Possess willingness to pitch-in as needed during peak periods.
  • Serve as an internal subject matter expert to the other roles within InvesTech.
  • Production of recurring materials including marketing generic presentations, institutional fact sheets, investment profiles, product summaries, client letters, and customized client reporting.
  • Lead on production of customized product presentations.

Requirements

  • Strong academic credentials.
  • MBA, CFA, or progress toward these qualifications is a plus.
  • 3-7 years of professional experience in either investment management or marketing communications.
  • Excellent quantitative and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Be an independent self-starter and team player.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and complete high-quality work.
  • Agility to adhere to strict and competing deadlines dictated by prospects, consultants, and clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in investment management or marketing communications is preferred but not mandatory.
