About the position

The Product Research Manager for Consumer Centric Sensory at Bayer is responsible for creating and executing studies that inform and inspire innovation product strategies. This role focuses on translating research findings into actionable product strategies, managing research partnerships, and engaging directly with consumers to enhance product experiences. The position requires a blend of scientific knowledge, creativity, and strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and drive product development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Create and execute studies to inform innovation product strategies.
  • Translate research findings into meaningful product strategy data.
  • Communicate research data to brand and product development teams.
  • Implement new research techniques and consumer co-creation sessions.
  • Manage research partners to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Category development leads to define product research learning plans.
  • Direct consumer engagement activities in compliance with regulations.
  • Coach and support the PX technician in daily activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Strong competency in consumer centric sensory and consumer science activities.
  • Experience in data analytics is desirable.
  • Prior experience working with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders not in direct line of management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 6 years experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
