About the position

The Product Sales Manager (PSM) for DFS Group at Los Angeles International Airport is a full-time leadership role focused on driving sales and enhancing customer experiences in the fashion retail sector. The PSM will manage a cross-functional sales team, oversee product management, and ensure effective execution of promotions and training to meet sales targets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment that combines luxury, travel, and retail, while being part of the LVMH Group.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales floor to ensure a high-energy, positive experience for staff and customers.
  • Effectively manage customer initiatives and membership programs to enhance the customer experience.
  • Review sales productivity and individual team member performance regularly.
  • Provide effective team leadership through open communication, training, coaching, and encouragement.
  • Lead, coach, and train the team to ensure growth in skills and effectiveness.
  • Prepare and deliver performance appraisals with specific feedback.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection of Team Leaders and sales staff as needed.
  • Act as the primary communication link between product merchants and internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance local brand relationships while upholding confidentiality.
  • Participate in the development and execution of merchandise strategy, including promotions and seasonal buys.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of retail store leadership experience, preferably with sales and luxury merchandise.
  • Proven track record in sales generation and achieving sales goals.
  • Flexibility to work nontraditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong multi-dimensional leadership ability in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions with relevant facts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.
  • Experience with client tracking systems and Point of Sales (POS).
