About the position

The Product Specialist II at King & Spalding is responsible for managing and optimizing the SharePoint Online environment, facilitating the transition from SharePoint 2016 to SharePoint Online, and ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of SharePoint Online and its integration with Microsoft 365 applications, along with providing technical support and training to end-users.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the SharePoint Online environment, including site collections, libraries, lists, and workflows.
  • Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 collaboration tools, including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and other related applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users to ensure effective use of SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Develop and implement best practices for SharePoint Online usage and governance within the organization.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate SharePoint Online with existing systems and workflows.
  • Monitor and analyze usage patterns to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SharePoint Online features and updates, and implement them as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Create and maintain documentation for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 collaboration tools configurations and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with SharePoint Online and other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and networking principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Microsoft 365 certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator Associate) are a plus.
  • Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) preferred.
  • Knowledge of security and compliance features within SharePoint Online preferred.
