About the position

The Product Stewardship Analyst at CF Industries plays a crucial role in supporting the company's Environmental, Health, Safety, and Quality (EHSQ) mission by ensuring compliance with product regulations and stewardship objectives. This position involves managing product certifications, regulatory documentation, and collaborating with various departments to implement best practices in product stewardship. The analyst will also engage with external trade associations and develop training programs to promote compliance and sustainability within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product classification and legislative requirements to ensure compliance with product registration and EHS documentation regulations.
  • Maintain company-wide policies and systems to assist various departments in complying with product registration and regulation requirements.
  • Gather information on developing product regulations and advise senior leadership on potential impacts and necessary changes.
  • Coordinate the review and update of product Safety Data Sheets, Specifications, Labels, and other regulatory documentation.
  • Manage updates to the IFA Protect & Sustain Product Stewardship certification across all CF locations.
  • Collaborate with departments to integrate product stewardship fundamentals and best practices.
  • Represent CF on Trade Associations and Working Groups focused on product stewardship and regulatory compliance standards development.
  • Develop training programs for product stewardship, highlighting expectations, standards, roles, and responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physical Science, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Familiarity with product regulations such as REACH, CLP, TSCA, GHS, HazCom, DOT, ADR, SARA, CBAM, Chemical Diversion, and State Right-to-Know.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to perform analytical activities on large data sets and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Access, and Word for data analysis and report generation.
  • Effective communication skills for conveying complex information verbally and in writing.
  • Skill in analyzing and summarizing data from various sources and preparing benchmark reports.
  • Research skills to support the implementation of sustainable practices.
