About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The Monetization Strategy team is seeking entrepreneurial spirits to help shape monetization efforts for TikTok. This role offers a unique opportunity to partner with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. The Monetization Strategy & Operations organization plays a critical role in providing business insights through analysis and financial modeling, ensuring alignment of goals across functions, and driving strategic initiatives forward. The team focuses on aligning high-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, evolving early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives. In this position, you will be responsible for planning revenue targets for international advertising businesses, calculating detailed financial indicators such as revenue and cost for overall projects, and assessing related ROI. You will develop a strong understanding of market size, major competitors, and advertising strategies across various monetization products, including shop ads and search ads. Additionally, you will assist the business team in conducting internal operational analysis, identifying problem areas, and coordinating with relevant departments to build effective solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for digital advertising and social media monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Plan revenue targets for international advertising businesses and calculate detailed financial indicators such as revenue and cost for overall projects and related ROI.
  • Create a strong understanding of the market size, major competitors, and advertising strategies on different monetization products, such as shop ads and search ads.
  • Assist the business team in conducting internal operational analysis, identifying problem areas, and coordinating with relevant departments to build solutions.

Requirements

  • 5-9 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or tech corporate strategy.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in market analysis and financial modeling.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Passion for digital advertising and social media monetization.
