The Monetization Strategy Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping monetization efforts for TikTok, working closely with cross-functional leaders to assess performance and plan for the future. This position is part of the Monetization Strategy & Operations organization, which provides critical insights through analysis and financial modeling, ensuring alignment of goals and execution across teams. The role focuses on aligning high-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations and evolving early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives. In this role, the successful candidate will conduct market research and analysis to identify long-term monetization opportunities and trends in digital advertising. They will collaborate with product management and engineering teams to develop monetization strategies for all major ad products, including ad creatives, ad measurement, and branding and performance product lines. The candidate will analyze internal and external factors impacting monetization, such as market trends and the competitive landscape, to inform strategic decision-making. Monitoring revenue performance and making recommendations for adjustments or improvements to drive revenue growth will also be key responsibilities. The Monetization Strategy Lead will partner with cross-functional teams to execute monetization strategies and achieve revenue targets, providing thought leadership on industry trends and emerging monetization opportunities in digital advertising.
