About the position

The Product Strategy Manager will oversee the strategy and development process for a global eyewear leader. This role requires adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, managing product catalogs, reporting, and material management effectively.

Responsibilities

• Upkeep of product catalogs
• Maintain technical line sheet for license
• Ensure general upkeep of PLM data integrity
• Collect training tools
• Support on all product development milestones
• Pull information from data systems including monthly reports
• Prepare reports for upper management with high accuracy
• Conduct product reviews
• Perform competitive market deep dives
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis
• Assist with new material development
• Organize samples and maintain material libraries
• Prepare for meetings by placing sketches on boards and preparing necessary forms

Requirements

• B.S/B.A. degree in Merchandising Management and/or Product Development
• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Licensing experience (preferred)
• Product development experience in the accessory industry (preferred)
• Knowledgeable in product briefs creation for cross-functional teams
• Knowledgeable on aesthetic aspects of product development (preferred)
• Previous experience with reporting, recruiting, and data analysis
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft suite of applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analysis skills
• Excellent teamwork, verbal, and written communication skills
• Project and time management skills
