About the position

As a German bilingual Transit Editor Agent, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and relevance of transit-related data that influences public transportation systems worldwide. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify, curate, and research transit-related entities, ultimately supporting key decisions on a wide range of topics. You will also develop a deep understanding of our client's policies and requirements to ensure alignment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, curate, and maintain transit-related data, including routes, schedules, pricing, and other critical information.
• Utilize reporting tools and conduct research using various online sources in German to gather and analyze data related to transit entities and trends.
• Collaborate with different teams within the organization to ensure that transit data meets the requirements and objectives of our clients.
• Develop a deep understanding of our client's policies and requirements related to transit data, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Implement quality control processes to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with team members and clients, ensuring that information is accurately conveyed in English.
• Be open to learning new skills, working on various projects, and adapting to changing processes and requirements.

Requirements

• Fluent in German
• Good understanding of various forms of public transport
• English fluency is a requirement
• Proficient researcher with the ability to use online sources
• High School Diploma is the minimum educational requirement
• Strong communication skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Self-motivated and able to work independently

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in a second language as per the project scope
• Customer service background, especially within a communications team
• Knowledge of QGIS
• Experience with MAC OS X
• SQL basics
• 1 year of technical support or other problem-solving experience
