About the position

The Product Support Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting U.S. Naval acquisition and sustainment programs by applying Integrated Product Support (IPS) Logistics principles. This position involves providing acquisition IPS information and strategies throughout the lifecycle of the system to meet program logistics and engineering milestones. The analyst will also support the development of product life cycle documentation and analyze logistical data across various IPS domain elements to identify problems and opportunities for product support.

Responsibilities

  • Support U.S. Naval acquisition and sustainment programs by applying IPS Logistics principles.
  • Provide acquisition IPS information and strategies throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Assist in developing statutory, regulatory, and programmatic product life cycle documentation.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze logistical data across all 14 IPS domain elements.
  • Identify problems, solutions, and product support opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as an acquisition logistics Integrated Product Support Analyst.
  • 5+ years of experience with IPS postings.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating logistics documents, briefs, and correspondence.
  • 5+ years of experience in analyzing and correlating product support data from multiple sources.
  • Experience working in multiple logistics domains simultaneously.
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Navy acquisition framework models from cradle to grave.
  • Ability to read and interpret specification drawings and maintenance procedures.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience leading logistics teams.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Visio.
  • Knowledge of Model Based Product Support (MBPS).
  • Logistics Acquisition Certification.
  • Logistics and IPS training through the Defense Acquisition University (DAU).
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
