About the position

As the Production Support Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our development and production environments. This position is crucial for ensuring that our systems operate efficiently and effectively to support our business objectives. You will provide hands-on support, manage changes, oversee releases, and collaborate with development teams to facilitate smooth deployment of software updates and new features. Your role will also involve implementing and overseeing change management processes, ensuring that all changes are properly documented, tested, and approved before deployment. In addition to managing the release process, you will be responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and communicating releases to minimize impact on ongoing operations. Monitoring system performance will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will need to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions to prevent downtime. You will also develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures, and participate in the creation and testing of disaster recovery plans. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to improve system stability and performance. You will provide off-hours support as needed for critical production issues and releases, and configure and customize Salesforce instances to meet specific business needs and optimize user experience. Additionally, you will analyze data and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize workflows, guiding and training Salesforce admins to reach new levels of expertise.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production support, change management, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and release management processes
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of Salesforce platform, functionality, and best practices
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
