About the position

The Product Support role at Five Star Call Centers involves assisting customers of a national business product company with their product needs. This includes troubleshooting and providing general assistance for various products such as shredders, laminators, and air purifiers. The position requires effective communication through multiple support channels including phone, chat, and email, ensuring customer issues are resolved efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Address customer questions and concerns on all products and services through multiple communication channels such as phone, email, and/or chat.
  • Skillfully change from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
  • Maintain punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times while being available at your desk.
  • Remain positive and professional in all customer interactions.
  • Flexibility to cross train as requested.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service or customer support experience.
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required.
  • Technical savvy and ability to learn quickly.
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening.
  • Typing speed of 35 words per minute accurately.
  • Must have verified internet service (secure, reliable, and dedicated high speed) and an established dedicated work area.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous remote work from home experience is a plus.

Benefits

  • Starting pay of $14/hour, plus shift differential (extra $1/hr for nights & weekends) and possible increase after 90 days pending attendance and performance.
  • Paid training typically lasting 2 weeks from 8:00am-5:00pm Mon-Fri (CST).
  • Full-time status with benefits eligible after 60 days.
