The Product Technical Specialist has a broad knowledge of Haas products, competitive products, and the marketplace. This role sees the world through the lens of a customer, the machine operator, and Haas Automation, making the Product Technical Specialist invaluable in product development for Haas. The position helps create products that are profitable for the company, desirable and practical for customers, and easy for the distributor network to sell and service.

Responsibilities

• Disseminate product information throughout the dealer network.
• Provide individual distributor instruction where necessary.
• Help engineering identify new or expanding markets for new products.
• Assist engineering in designing products with suitable features for the intended customer base.
• Help engineering develop and enhance existing products as the market evolves.
• Price the machine appropriately for the market and manage machine and option pricing in the ERP system and within marketing.
• Maintain sufficient market intelligence.
• Follow instructions and procedures, escalating any issues impacting workflow or quality.
• Exhibit honesty and integrity, demonstrating adherence to rules, procedures, and policies.

Requirements

• Associate's degree AA/AS/AAS from a two-year college or technical school is required.
• 5-10 years of related experience.
