About the position

C+A Global is seeking a Product Videographer & Editor to collaborate with the creative marketing team, including an in-house videographer and photographer. The role involves planning, filming, and editing product videos to effectively market consumer products across various platforms, particularly e-commerce. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and flexible, contributing to all aspects of video production from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Creative Director, Stakeholders, Buyers, Sales, and Social Media/PR Teams on project concepts through final execution
• Visualize and organize a plan for product and brand video shoots
• Create storyboards or shot lists for various video types, including promotional and how-to videos
• Film and edit videos for product presentations, events, publications, website, and social media
• Produce innovative product videos using filming and editing software
• Utilize graphic design and photo manipulation for video and audio production
• Collaborate with 3rd parties for video editing, CGI animations, and voice overs
• Meet weekly with Project Manager to keep schedule on track
• Conduct kick-off meetings with buyers for new products via Microsoft Teams or in-person
• Assist the photo or video team with shoots by managing sets, props, and lighting equipment
• Return samples to product buyers or coordinate with building manager for removal
• Keep the studio and surrounding areas organized
• Coordinate return of samples and studio alterations with building manager
• Research marketing tools and use project management skills to facilitate product marketing

Requirements

• Must possess a quality portfolio of previous work
• 2+ years of work experience in videography
• Extensive Motion Graphics and Video Editing experience
• Proficient with basic computer software such as Microsoft Office suite
• Understanding of lighting (placement, ambient, source, color temperature)
• Proficient with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects)
• Strong knowledge of fonts/design layout styles
• Knowledge of post-production techniques
• Understanding of software used for planning, editing, and scripting
• Ability to complete attractive 60-90 second product videos on a tight schedule
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
• Creative thinker with experience in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
